A list and explanation of the skills I have developed, to make a stay with mother nature even more pleasant.
This part will act as my personal notepad. An overview of the skills I have learned over the years. This is my way to preserve all my notes and journals in an orderly fashion, review all things I’ve learned and relive everything. And maybe I even help you gaining some new insights. This will be accomplished by means of videos, photo’s, links or notes.
Subjects you’ll find here vary from building and maintaining fires. Cooking on these fires. Also hunting and gathering for food and buildings shelters will be subjects that are discussed here.
Where as the heading knowledge is mainly about theory, I would like to see more of the practice here. Knowledge from books is fun but the practice is often a lot more unruly. I am not very much in favour of learning skills from YouTube, for example. There you often learn the vision and attempt of one person. I prefer to take a course at Living by Nature or Siegurd.nl where not only the flat knowledge is conveyed but where attention is also paid to practice it in practice. And learn from this practice. That’s the only way to build your skills.
